When you are ready to request a username, go to the home page and click Request User Name on the home page. I need my teaching certificate number. How can I get it? Call CBE Employment Information Centre 1-877-353-2555 or Barnett House at 1-800-232-7208 and ask for the Information Technology Services Helpdesk.
After I click ‘Request User Name’ a new window doesn’t appear. Why not?
Your web browser probably has been set to block (usually annoying) pop up windows. Use the Help menu to find out how to allow the window to appear.
The window showing the process appears, but I can’t find the Begin button? Where is it?
The website is set up for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If your screen is set up at 800 x 600 then the pop up window will not have enough room. That hides the Begin button.
Solution #1: Change the screen resolution - Go into your Control Panel (PC) or System Preferences (Mac) and change the resolution to 1024 x 768.
Solution #2: Resize the window - Click on the bottom right-hand corner of the pop up window and drag down and to the right until you see the Begin button.
Solution #3: Tab - Only on a PC, click anywhere in the pop up window and hit the Tab key. Control will move to the Begin key that will be revealed. Then hit Enter and you're on your way.
My new User Name looks like an email address. Is it?
No. Provincial ATA isn’t contemplating providing email addresses for all 39,000 ATA members at this time.
