Teacher Welfare Committee

Welcome to the Teacher Welfare Committee page.     

The Teacher Welfare Committee is charged with formulating an initial negotiating position, which the Negotiating Sub-Committee will take to negotiations, after presentation, clarification and consideration by the Council of School Representatives, and subsequent debate, amendment and ratification of the members of the bargaining unit. They monitor the collective agreement and collect data that will help to deal with issues that arise from the agreement.
