Calgary Public Teachers, ATA Local 38 maintains two annual scholarship programs.

Local 38 Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes students of outstanding merit whose parent/guardian is a current, retired or deceased member. Download the scholarship guidelines, application form, and award criteria. The number of scholarships awarded each year depends on the number of applicants.

The John Laurie Scholarship
The John Laurie Scholarship recognizes an aboriginal student with outstanding merit in the Calgary Board of Education each year.  Download the application form, application procedure, and award criteria. One scholarship is awarded each year.

Deadline for receipt of applications for either scholarship is May 31 of the application year.
