When a tsunami hit countries in Africa and Asia on Dec. 26, 2004, there were two waves. The first wave was one of destruction. The second wave came from the world-wide aid being collected and dispersed to the countries in need. 

Local 38 has gathered a few examples of how Calgary Board of Education students and teachers worked to help the victims of the tsunami.
