Military History to Disappear From Glenbow?
Military History to Disappear From Glenbow?

Teachers need to be informed that the Glenbow Museum in Calgary is currently debating whether or not to close the Military History floor at the museum.
Many teachers have visited the fourth floor as part of their field trip experience to the Glenbow. This floor contains dioramas of medieval life, which hold a great interest to many students and teachers alike. The armour gallery at the Glenbow inspires ideas involving knights and armour and also plays into our desire to imagine another time in history; of days filled with kings, princesses and dragons.
If you would like to see the Glenbow keep this floor open, you are urged to write a letter, phone or e-mail the museum expressing your desire to see this exhibit remain. The museum will be making their decision soon. Below is the necessary contact information:
