Committee Positions Available

Deadline to express interest is October 30

Members interested in assisting with the activities of their professional association by serving on the following committees should submit their names to the ATA Local 38 by emailing elections@ata38.ab.ca no later than Thursday, 2025 October 30 at 1600 hrs.

PD COMMITTEE

  • One (1) member from the Membership at large (2-year term ending June 2027)

RESOLUTIONS COMMITTEE

  • One (1) member from the Membership at large (1-year term ending June 2026)

DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE

  • One (1) member from the Membership at large (1-year term ending June 2026)

Nominations received by 2025 October 30 for the positions which are uncontested will be declared elected by acclamation. An election will be held for any contested positions at the CSR meeting on 2025 November 5. If these positions remain vacant by the November CSR meeting, nominations from the floor will be considered.
