First Aid Training for Substitute Teachers

Certification & Recertification opportunity scheduled for 2019 October 11

Are you looking to take a First Aid Course or Recertify?

Substitute teachers can register for First Aid Certification courses for the upcoming PD Day on October 11th, 2019 (for a reduced rate).

Currently the locations for October 11th, 2019 are:
- Edgemont School (Limited Availability)
8:00 am to 4:00 pm
(55 Edgevalley Circle NW)

- John Ware School
8:00 am to 4:00 pm
(10020-19 Street SW)

Registrations on ONGOING and no spots are guaranteed until registration is made.

Blended Program ($103.95*)
The blended program is for those who have never been certified or whose certification has expired. This involves 6 hours of online work prior to the single day in class.

Recertification Program ($82.95*)
The recertification course is for those who hold a current Standard First Aid CPR/AED level C certification.
(If you choose this course, instructors will need to see a copy of current certification- emailing them is fine)

If you work for a school and have a Billing Code, you can provide that during registration to have the cost of the course covered.

How to register:

  1. Go to www.childsafecanada.com

  2. Find the top right corner of page and click on Log In

  3. User name: cbestaff
    Password: training23

  4. Register and pay yourself OR bill to your school with permission (alias billing code required from your administrator)

  5. Call 403-202-5900 if you need assistance or if you prefer registration over the phone

 

Important!
No refunds are provided. Transfers or cancellations are required to be submitted to Child Safe Canada 72 business hours prior to the course start date. There will be no charge for transfers to another date. Non instructional dates require 7 notice days to withdraw or transfer. Transfers or absenteeism within this time will be billed to the participant, school or department. Transfers or cancellations within the 72 business hours: Require a Doctors Note and will be transferred at no charge a future date/location. Without medical proof- full course feeds will be billed to the participant, school or department.
